Hallelujah Press!! November 1998 If you meet me and your forget me, you have lost nothing If you meet Jesus Christ and you forget Him, you have lost everything. YESTERDAY IS HISTORY. TOMORROW IS MYSTERY. TODAY IS A GIFT. THAT'S WHY IT'S CALL THE PRESENT ! We can give God much: our problems, our grief's, our praises--BUT we cannot give Him advice. DON'T DRIVE FASTER THAN YOUR ANGELS CAN FLY !! Sin will take you farther than you want to go Keep you longer than you want to stay Cost you more than you're willing to pay. We had the honor of having Becky Walsh with us and her accountant Rodica from Romania. We went to International Aid and they found a lot of goodies there and then we went to the Missionary Encouragers Missions room and they filled a couple of boxes and we will be sending them out. Missionary Encouragers sent out 19 boxes overseas last week Friday. Many of the boxes will take 6 weeks and many longer so we will be anxious to hear how they enjoyed the things in them. One of the missionaries from our church, (Faith Christian Center) is from Honduras Brother Dilbert and was in the states and with hurricane Mitchell he is not able to get home for a while. Talked with a church that had a couple that was and still is in Honduras as the airport was not going to be open for them to leave for another two weeks. Now, can you imagine just getting someone to get in contact with your boss and say "Hey I can't be to work for two or three weeks". Well, praise the Lord for the news media. Back to Brother Dilbert from Honduras. Please pray for him and his family. He said that the church is on higher ground and that many people found refuge there. He said that it is a great opportunity to talk with them about God as they don't have anywhere else to go. Ain't God good even in a disaster? Rev. & Mrs. Ben Henry are in South Africa for 6 months. Please pray for them. They aren't spring chickens. Can't really tell you how old they are cause didn't ask, but Ben is 10 over his 3 score and ten and Evelyn is about almost there. No, I'm not going to tell you, you just have to figure it out for yourself. Their grandson, Rev. Dale Brown, went with them as well as their friend Bob Guerink. Pastor Dale and Bob are only going to be there a couple of weeks. I know that they will have a bright light shining within when they return. Bill Hart -Brazil-just had surgery on his aorta.(heart area). It was ready to rupture and God had a surgeon at the hospital and they operated at 2AM. The surgery was about 4 hours. Just talked with Josephine and she said that Bill had to go back in for repair surgery as some stitches had broken loose. Bill is at this point in intensive care but by the time that you will be reading this he will probably be out of the hospital and running and chasing the kids at the orphanage. Our prayers are with Bill & Josephine during this difficult time. Rev. Tommy Counts and Lynette Hart are taking special treatments for cancer. Remember them as well in your prayers. As you know that it is very hard for the person going through the hurts but their spouses hurt as well and do remember them in your prayers. DO YOU LOOK AT THE SITUATION OR LOOK TO GOD TO TAKE CARE OF THE SITUATION Just got some more boxes packed and they are going to the post office tomorrow. We will not be sending to many boxes out while we are in Florida and traveling but please continue to send the things that you collect on to us and our granddaughter will store them until we return. That way we will be building up our supply and ready to send more boxes. Hallelujah!!! A note of thanks... Dear Retus and Jean-Missionary Encouragers. God bless you and thank you so much for the box of goodies we received from you today. you helped make our day by sending us this love package. Things we can use and also share. God bless you richly as you reach out this way to missionaries all around the world. As you can see I'm using one of the "thank you " notes that you sent to write this. Much love in Jesus. Sylvia Cruz-Mexico send more boxes. Hallelujah !!!
