YOUs from ministries blest by Missionary Encouragers.
Dear Brother and Sister Shaw, A need has been wonderfully met through your newsletter (Hallelujah Press). Brother Davenport mentioned that Brother Homan had some medical supplies for missionaries free. He had a wheelchair we needed, but could find no way to transport it from Texas to Pennsylvania. As an alternative, his church graciously sent the money to buy a new wheelchair in Manila! We are so grateful. The Body of Christ, working together, is such a miracle! Thank you for your ministry. David and Wendi Cook Thank You. We just received your "goodie" box and it was like Christmas. According to the label you sent it on Nov. 21 and it arrived Jan. 29th. Thanks, thanks a million! You surely had a lot of things packed in that hat box -- bless your heart. We'll be able to have some jello for a long time -- everybody loves jello here PTL. All that tissue and wrapping paper too -- thanks a million. I never saw that big cans of peanut butter before --- we'll give the school one right away. Thanks for the split peas for soup -- really appreciate everything. Nice to have some US candy too. Never had so many paper plates before -- use plenty of them as you know! We'll have some macaroni and cheese now too. We still have a little of the cheese left -- thanks for the 2# box of cheese - it's really delicious. Thanks for the "kool-aid" it's about time again for DVBS (Daily Vacation Bible School) and that's a big help. Thanks so much for the jelly and jam. As you know that's a real treat for us too. Thanks for the vitamins and Ziplock Bags. Thanks for the boxes of crayons -- the children always enjoy them. Dr. Jeannie Mosier and Pastora Dear Rev. & Mrs. Shaw, Praise the Lord. I trust that you are all right in all things. Thanks, I received the package that you sent me last Monday, Feb. 11. All items checked in the check list were there, even though it was opened. I don't know if here in Kabacan postoffice or in Manila. Thank you for your kind thought of us here. I'll be distributing the pencils to the Sunday School children, but as the balloons are not enough I will give them as prizes. We will have a very special day like Christmas in Feb. Praise the Lord. You really are great encouragers! May the Lord continue to bless you and give you more power for this important ministry. I am now retired from active work in ABEA as I am now 71 years old, but am active in our local church, assistant Sunday School teacher, church secretary and treasurer. The Lord is renewing my strength daily though my writing is very poor, I hope you could undertand it. Thank you, thank you, dear brethren. In Christ E-mail thank you. Subject: got the box !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi, The box arrived !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you... You know what? Sometimes when I have read your newsletter - and you talk about the boxes
that you send out...I have wondered why we didn't get one :)... Here's what I'm a gonna do................ |
